University at Buffalo Police two women were caught in an attempted robbery on University Thursday afternoon in the Parker lot on UB's South Campus.
The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. and involved a knife, according to police.
Officials say the suspect is a 5 feet 6 inches tall black man with a thin build. He was wearing a black and grey patterned ski mask and a light grey zip-up hoodie.
UB Police say the suspect is no longer on campus, but have sent more resources to the South Campus and notified the Buffalo Police Department.
According to police, the suspect left the area through backyards on Winspear Avenue.
Anyone who may have seen the suspect is asked to call University Police at 645-2227.
