The New York State Assembly voted unanimously on Tuesday to add Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to a growing list of qualifying conditions under the state's medical marijuana program.

The bill now heads to the State Senate.

According to lawmakers, of the 28 states with medical marijuana programs, 23 cover patients with PTSD.
