Detectives have made an arrest in the murder of a Buffalo man last summer.
On August 4, 2016, 21-year old Laron Watkins was shot and killed in Sperry Park, while walking home from work.
Buffalo Police have arrested 18-year-old Jaylin Wiggins, of Buffalo, in connection with the shooting. Detectives say Wiggins also shot two other individuals in connection with that incident.
Police say Wiggins is charged with second degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
On Watkins' birthday last year, his family released balloons in hopes of finding the person who killed him.
