Buffalo police are investigating an armed robbery on the Buffalo State campus.  The robbery took place at approximately 6:40 Cassety Hall on Thursday, April 19.

A student tells University Police that he responded to a knock at the door, and as he opened the door, two male suspects pushed in the door to gain entry to the room. One suspect displayed what appeared to be a silver handgun. The two suspects took a small amount of cash and cell phones from the room before fleeing the building. No injuries were reported.

The suspects are described as two black males, both approximately 5'8" to 5'10" tall, and wearing black hoodies. One of the suspects was carrying a black duffle bag.

Friday afternoon, Campus Police announced that one suspect, a 21 year old non-student, had been arrested in connection to the robbery.

If you have any information that may be of assistance to investigators, you are encouraged to call the University Police anonymous tip line at (716) 878-3166 or the campus UPD number at (716) 878-6333.
