Home security cameras have gone wireless - with the ability to connect to your phone and other devices no matter where you are.
But a big worry is whether the new devices can be hacked, leaving your family's privacy in jeopardy.
Best Buy team leader James Bittler said the new cameras are highly encrypted: "so the chances of something happening are slim to none."
Cheektowaga police assistant chief Jim Speyer said the devices can be useful deterrents for criminals as well, especially those looking to swipe your packages this holiday season.
The cameras go for as low as $70, and can be installed wired or wireless.
