It's an ice cream deal with a 'twist.'
Nick Charlap's Ice Cream will honor the community wide-effort to rebuild the Hamburg area after a tornado ripped through by offering small twist ice cream cones for $.50.
An EF-2 tornado tore through Hamburgand Orchard Park on Thursday, July 20th of 2017. Crews worked non-stop and scrambled to rebuild the fairgrounds two weeks prior to the official start to the Erie County Fair.
The ice cream will be served at Nick Charlap’s Ice Cream located at the Clark Street and South Park Avenue in the Village of Hamburg from 2-5pm Friday.
