November is national adoption month, and a Western New York couple got a head start Saturday.
Marce Zerrate and Scot Sandel arrived at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport last night after spending a little over a month in Colombia adopting their new daughter Luna.
The seven-month-old received a warm reception from not only her new family but families of FANA, a group dedicated to helping families with the adoption process.
FANA is a private orphanage in Bogata, Colombia which helped nearly 600 children find their forever homes in WNY.
For FANA it's all about helping a family grow and blossom.
