Amherst Police say authorities have found 12-year-old Grace Pesarechik and that she is home safe.

Pesarechik, who has Asperger Syndrome, disappeared at about 7:30 in the evening on Thursday from her McNair Road home in Williamsville. Amherst Police and neighbors looked for the little girl for six hours, even bringing out search dogs and a helicopter.

A spokesperson with Buffalo Police says that a 911 caller saw the little girl at Washington and Tupper in Buffalo at about 1 in the morning and had recognized Pesarechik's picture from the news.

Officers with the Buffalo Police then saw her a few blocks away, walking into the Hilton Garden Inn at 10 Lafayette Square at about 1:20 a.m.

The Buffalo Police spokesperson does not believe anybody was seen walking with the little girl.
