An Amherst police officer, on routine patrol, found a fire burning at a Transit Road business Tuesday morning.
Firefighters were called to Picket Fence and Exteriors, on the Clarence side of Transit Road, about 1:45 a.m.
Amherst Fire Control told 7 Eyewitness News, fire was reported in the manufacturing garage with a partial collapse of the roof.
The garage is behind the office.
It's unclear how much damage was done to the garage. We don't know what was inside the garage.
Firefighters were unsure how the fire started.
Dispatchers say no one was hurt.
