Amherst man arrested in connection with Town of Niagara shooting

Niagara County Sheriffs announced an arrest has been made in connection with an early Sunday morning shooting in the Town of Niagara.

Cameron M. Czora, 20, of Amherst, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree and reckless endangerment in the first degree.

Police say they were called to the scene of a large fight with shots fired at 6000 Packard Rd.

Upon arrival they discovered multiple shots were fired and one male victim was struck by a ricochet.

The victim was taken to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries.

Bail was set at $3000 cash or $6000 bond.

Czora is due back in court June 7.
