A heartwarming initiative is gaining momentum, courtesy of AMC Theatres and the non-profit organization, Color of Change.
Under their, Give A Child the Universe collaboration, organizers are looking to send underprivileged children from across the country to a screening of the new film, "A Wrinkle in Time."
They're encouraging individuals and group benefactors to donate tickets to a matinee showing at local AMC Theatres.
Color of Change will then distribute the tickets to local schools and community based organizations, allowing children to enjoy the new adaptation of the timeless classic, regardless of their economic ability.

A Wrinkle in Time, a film adaptation of the children's classic by Madeleine L'Engle, opens in theatres on March 9.
The cast includes Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling and Storm Reid, who plays the book's central character, Meg Murray.
