Meatballs are a deeply rooted family tradition for the co-owners of A Street Meatball Market.

Co-owners Bobby Burns and Dennis Glenn have been bouncing around the country but have settled in Buffalo for now. The two have opened a cafe in Allentown, just steps away from the newly opened Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.

The medical campus was part of the reason Burns and Glenn picked their space. "At first the big reason was I just like the neighborhood. We also wanted to get in on the ground floor of the development around the campus," says Burns.

"We want it to be unpretentious, homey and comfortable," says Burns. The menu at A Street Meatball Market consists of four different meatballs, five sauces and a number of sides, sandwiches, pastas and desserts, all made in-house. The sauces and meatballs were all created to be gluten-free so the food could be accessible to more people.

Meatballs can be served on, or in anything from sandwiches to pizzas. Burns and Glenn also serve a number of healthy fruit smoothies and milkshakes, making the small restaurant an convenient place to grab a bite to eat.
