Incumbent and front-runner Andrew Cuomo didn't show, but his four challengers in the race for New York governor swapped ideas in a largely genial debate Thursday just days before Election Day.

The exchange in Albany was hosted by the League of Women Voters and featured Republican Marc Molinaro, Libertarian Larry Sharpe, independent Stephanie Miner and Green Party nominee Howie Hawkins.

Cuomo did not participate.

The candidates all faulted the Democratic incumbent for failing to address crumbling infrastructure, rampant corruption or the upstate's declining population.

The candidates also highlighted their own records and ideas. Sharpe proposed selling naming rights to bridges and roads, while Hawkins talked about the need for greater renewable energy. Miner touted her work as a two-term mayor of Syracuse while Molinaro talked about his tenure as Dutchess County executive.
