The right two lanes on I-290 West at Exit 3, Niagara Falls Boulevard, were closed Tuesday night during rush hour following an accident.
The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene.
While the right lanes were closed, traffic was backed up for almost two miles, to Exit 5, Millersport Highway.
Around a half hour later, the lanes re-opened as emergency crews cleared the scene.
There is no word on any injuries.
