Tuesday's storms were thankfully nothing like what happened in July when an EF-2 tornado touched down in Hamburg. It was one of 4 tornados that day.
A month later, and homeowners on Best and Holly Street still have plenty of work in front of them.
People in the neighborhood who were hit so hard by the last storm were all ears when they heard Tuesday's watches and warnings. There were a total of 3 tornado warnings. Fortunately, there were no reported tornadoes.
“You kind of stop and think especially when you hear tornado warnings you think, “oh no, not again,’” said Jean Dulak.
The storms are over, but the memories are still vivid over what severe weather can do in the blink of an eye.
