An 8-year-old Niagara Falls girl was hit by a minivan while crossing Pierce Avenue.
The girl was struck by a 2007 Chrysler minivan driven by a 36-year-old Niagara Falls woman.
Ambulance personnel stabilized the girl at the scene. She was taken to the Buffalo Women and Children's Hospital for head evaluation and rib and knee injuries.
Officials said her injuries did not appear life-threatening.
Niagara Falls Police responded to the incident today around 1:00 p.m.
No charges have been filed against the driver at this time.
