A young man on a mission to help homeless veterans and their families in Niagara County organized a toy drive and basket raffle at the Wheatfield Community Center on Church Road in North Tonawanda on Saturday.
Wunderkind Kyle Stoddard, who's 8-years-old, created the fundraiser to benefit an organization called "Serve Niagara," a local veterans group that helps homeless vets.
For his efforts, Kyle was also honored as an "Everyday Hero" by a company called "Free Country," a lifestyle apparel brand based in New York City.
