71-year-old Amherst man robbed Friday afternoon

Amherst Police are investigating the robbery of a 71-year-old Amherst man Friday afternoon.

Police say around 12:30 p.m. officers responded to a report of a robbery on Synder Woods Court and found a 71-year-old man who was robbed in his garage.

The suspect was described as a male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black and gray jacket and a black mask.

No weapon was reported at the time of the incident.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital by Twin City Ambulance.
