According to Monroe County Sheriff's deputies, a 70-year-old Batavia woman died in a car crash on Thursday.

Deputies said 70-year-old Diane Rebmann was driving westbound on Paul Road, made a left turn onto Chestnut Ridge Road, and entered the path of 18-year-old Joseph Curtis of North Chili.

Our sister station, WHAM, in Rochester reported her car was T-boned and pushed into a telephone pole, where she was trapped for 30 minutes before being pulled out.

Rebmann was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where she later died.

Deputies say Curtis was not hurt.
