60,000 come out for Dyngus Day events in Buffalo

Posted

Another Dyngus Day is in the books.

Buffalo Police say more than 30,000 came out for the annual parade in Old Polonia, and more than 60,000 people came out for both the parade and post parade events at Buffalo's Central Terminal and other locations.

Despite the crowds and revelry, Buffalo Police say there was only Dyngus Day related arrest. Police say two men were fighting on Sears Street between Kent Street and Broadway. The fight happened just after 5 p.m.
