So far this month, three rabid animals have been found in Erie County.
Health officials are warning humans and their pets to be careful after two raccoons and one bat were found to have rabies.
Pets should be vaccinated and there is a free rabies clinic coming up on January 27 from 3-7 p.m. at the North Buffalo Community Center on Sanders Road.
If your pet is bitten, contact the Erie County Department of Health at 716-961-6800.
