With your help, the 2018 Variety Kids Telethon raised more than $1,000,000 for John R. Oishei Children's Hospital and more than a dozen local children's charities.

On Sunday, volunteers at the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino helped answer phones collecting donations. The telethon featured performances by The Scintas and Buffalo-based band Nerds Gone Wild. Variety celebrity children from years past also came as part of a tribute to late 7 Eyewitness News anchor and long-time telethon supporter Irv Weinstein.

The 2018 Variety Kids Telethon Celebrity Child, Jackson Buyea, attended with his family. You can read about Jackson here.

Variety accepts donations year around, not just during the telethon. You can find out how to donate on their website.
