BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - The 2018 Appeal for Catholic Charities is $1.5 million short of reaching its goal.
Thanks to a recent surge in funding, Catholic Charities of Buffalo officials say they have raised about $9.5 million so far. That's 86-percent to this year's goal, which is $11 million.
Catholic Charities has been around since 1923. The organization says they have impacted the lives of more than 152,000 neighbors over the past year.
