If you own property in Erie County, you will see a slight drop in your property taxes next year.
The 2015 Erie County budget was approved by the Legislature Tursday night and the average home owner will save almost $5 on their taxes.
Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz says the $1.4 billion spending plan protects the services the public wants and deserves.
"Good libraries, good arts and culturals, a strong vibrant public health office incase of any issues and of course emergency services," said Poloncarz.
The budget was unanimously approved and cuts nearly $2.1 million from last year's budget.
