Buffalo Police say about 2,000 people showed up for an immigrant solidarity rally at Columbus Park in Buffalo.
The purpose of the gathering was to bring light to the current state of the immigrant and refugee communities both here in Buffalo and across the United States. This follows the controversial immigration ban. Supporters held signs reading, "We are all one," and "No Ban, No Wall, Sanctuary For All."
Local lawmakers including Assemblyman Sean Ryan and Congressman Brian Higgins attended the rally.
Buffalo Police say no arrests were made.
