The American Meteor Society has received over 160 reports about a fireball seen over Pennsylvania.
The event happened Monday night around 8:15 p.m.
The AMS says the fireball was seen primarily from Pennsylvania but witnesses from Maryland, New York, Connecticut, Ohio, Virginia, West Viriginia, Michigan, Massachusetts, Delaware and Ontario also reported the event.
The map pictured above shows where witnesses reported the event. According to the AMS, the preliminary trajectory plotted from witness reports show the meteor was traveling from the Northeast to the Southwest and ended its flight near the Pine Creek Valley.
