A 16-year old Buffalo boy will spend 10 years in prison and 20 years in post-release supervision for the sexual assault of a teenage girl.

Ibrahim McBryde was sentenced by Erie County Court Judge Thomas Franczyk on Thursday.

The case dates back to February, when McBryde abducted the victim from her home at knife-point. He forced her into an empty house on Lathrop, where he threatened her with the knife and several guns, held her captive and physically and sexually assaulted her for several hours.

In June, McBryde pleaded guilty to two counts of Criminal Sex Act in the First Degree.

The victim testified at the sentencing of the devastating impact the assault has had on her.

McBryde will also have to register as a sex offender.
