Owner David Costanzo said the days are numbered for Yaseen's Jeweler in Niagara Falls.

The 75 year old claims the landlord is forcing him out of business. Yaseen's has been at Payne's Plaza on Military Road for 39 years.

"Two days after Christmas my landlord came in and said you're out of here by the 31st of January," Costanzo said.

He said his landlord told him he wants to give his space to another tenant, so that business can expand. Yaseen's has been in business for 114 years.

Co-owner of the property Jonathan Payne said he's not kicking Costanzo out. He said Costanzo refused to sign a lease for his spot and they offered another option.

"We had another tenant needing a bigger space so we offered him(Costanzo) another space in the same plaza just a section down and he refused that," Payne said.

Costanzo said moving is not practical at his age and this stage in his career. As news spreads customers are coming in to reminisce.

"We are all going to be so sad to see him go. I don't know where we are going to go," one customer said.

Costanzo has no plans on retiring. Yaseen's last say of business will be January 31st.
