An 11-year-old boy was killed Monday night after being hit by a truck while riding his bicycle.
Deputies say it happened around 5:15pm on Gooseneck Road in the Town of Ashford. The boy was riding his bike when he was hit by a pickup truck driving by a West Valley man.
The boy was taken to Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No charges have been filed against the driver at this time.
Deputies and State Police continue to investigate the accident.
