Before plows can help dig out stranded motorists and clear the roads, they’re going to have to be dug out themselves.

In West Seneca, 10 of the town’s 22 plows were disabled trying to battle the snow on Tuesday. The snow is so deep in some areas that plows that are out on the road are getting stuck.

Erie County remains under a State of Emergency and several towns, including West Seneca, still have a travel ban in place. Get the full list here.

The state has moved 526 plows to Western New York to help clear the snow.
