"Marshall" to premiere at the North Park Theatre Saturday

"Marshall", the new Hollywood film about Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American Supreme Court Justice will be premiering at the North Park Theatre on Hertel Avenue in Buffalo on Saturday. It will be the main film at the Buffalo International Film Festival (BIFF). 

"Marshall" was partially filmed in Buffalo which led to a lot of excitement surrounding the Buffalo premiere. 

According to BIFF officials the showing of "Marshall" sold out in minutes. 

Attending the showing of "Marshall" will be producers of the film as well as the director. 

The North Park Theatre, which was founded in 1920, is expecting over 600 people not including standing room. This is not their first premiere and, according to Program Director Ray Barker, they will be ready to be in the spotlight. 

"We can handle the red carpet and the gala premiere better than anybody."
