Mandi Marzec was taking things apart and putting them back together at an early age. That's how she got her nickname "Handy Mandi". Once you see some of her creations on display at her Depew showroom, you'll agree that Mandi really is handy.

She says "I love to collect things at flea markets." It's what she does with her flea market finds that grabs attention. She has transformed an antique sewing machine into a lamp, a washing machine tub into a coffee table and an fifty year old snow shovel into a holiday display.

Mandi's talent has not gone unnoticed. She recently landed as a contestant on Lara Spencer's Flea Market Flip show. Her team won and according to Mandi "I knew we were going to win."

Mandi's showroom is conveniently located inside a hardware store. Mandi says "Marzec's Hardware store opened in 1949 by my husband's grandparents". Her current project is an old school desk that she is turning into Minnie Mouse, complete with big ears and a pink skirt.

You can catch up with Mandi at her showroom at: Marzec Hardware, 5029 Broadway, Depew, NY 14043, on Facebook or at her website.
