TOWN OF PORTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — An investigation is underway after a man was killed in a tree-cutting accident in the Town of Porter on Monday.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office said deputies and EMS responded to the home on Lake Road around 3 p.m. and located a 59-year-old man. Despite efforts to provide aid, he died from his injuries.
The sheriff's office has identified the victim as 59-year-old Michael Mort of Lewiston.
