Chug! Chug! Chug! Remember those days? Well, take the classy approach this weekend and enjoy tastes of locally brewed craft beer. The 10-day festival is an all day event, catering to day drinkers and late night sippers. The last day to celebrate brews, bands, and bars is October 1st.
What goes best with an ice-cold beer? Savory barbecue! Head over to the Pumpkin Farm in Clarence to eat at New York's longest-running BBQ competition. Get in for free on Friday! Admission on Saturday and Sunday is $7 per person. September 24th is the last day to attend.
Saturday, September 23rd
More food! This weekend it's Grand Island's turn to show off their best dishes. The event is held on Whitehaven Road between Grand Island Boulevard and Baseline Road. There will be everything from pumpkin decorating, face painting to food sampling and craft buying.
Here's a fun way to run a 5K--walk, sprint, or run through multiple Blacklight Run Glow Zones on your way to the finish line. Runners will meet at Outer Harbor. Check-in starts at 4:30 p.m. and the race starts at 7:00 p.m. Sign up here!
Music lovers, Disney movie fanatics--this is for you! The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will play scenes from Disney's Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 at Kleinhan's Music Hall at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $30.
Sunday, September 24th
For weekend visitors and city lovers, explore the "new Buffalo" on this relaxing bike ride through the waterfront and downtown. Some tour highlights include "Shark Girl" and "Tim Horton" statues at Canalside and the Cobblestone District. Tickets are $5 for students and $15 for general admission. Riders will meet at the Tim Horton statue on Main Street & Marine Davis at 10 a.m.
Close out your weekend with the Bills game! Our beloved Buffalo Bills take on the Denver Broncos at 1 p.m. at New Era Field.
