Summer is finally here, and if you can dodge the raindrops there is plenty going on throughout Western New York this weekend.

1. Ride for Roswell

Even if you're not taking part in this year's ride, you can head to the route Saturday to help support the hundreds of riders for this year's event. The celebration will take place rain or shine and includes a family-friendly 3-mile river route to a 102-mile century ride through the country.

Haven't signed up yet? You can register in person tomorrow: find out more here!

So far, this event has raised more than $4.5 million dollars and 7,700 riders have signed up!

2. Zac Brown Band at Darien Lake

The three-time Grammy-winning Zac Brown Band heads to Darien Lake on Saturday, with the concert starting at 7 p.m. We checked on Live Nation Friday afternoon and there were still lawn tickets available starting at $35.75 and other seats available starting at $45.75 each from the time of this post.

3. Wurstfest

The German-American Musicians annual festival takes place on Sunday from Noon to 7 p.m. at Buffalo River Fest Park. Not only is there traditional music, but great food and drinks as well from the Bavarian region of Germany. Admission is just $2.

4. Splish Splash Summer Bash 2018

A little fun in the sun this weekend at the MLK Jr. Park splash pad. This event is free and open to the public and will include free face painting and balloon fun. It runs from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

5. International Drone Race at Riverworks

You can bring the family to see the fastest drone pilots race inside and outside of RiverWorks. Admission is free and the races run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Wondering just how fast they go? Check out the video below.

6. Buffalo Brewers Festival

This festival features 100% local Buffalo and WNY breweries, and of course, there will be food trucks as well! This is taking place at Canalside on Saturday from 4-7 p.m., with a cost of $30-$45 per person.

7. Double Decker Bus-Murder Mystery Tour

This starts this weekend and runs on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer. Each day has its own theme, a "Killing at Buffalo Creek," on Friday and the "Death at Doug's Dive' on Saturdays. According to the event website, Trip Advisor names it the No. 1 things to do in Buffalo this summer.

Each performance is $30 per person (you'll need to be at least 21 years old) and begins at the Buffalo Naval Park.
