Megan Lederhouse, outreach coordinator from the law offices of William Mattar says they are very excited for the start of their Rescue a Shelter Animal Campaign. Many of you know the importance of rescuing, volunteering, and donating to local shelters and organizations. With the cold weather moving in this is the time of year it is more important than ever. For those of you that have already helped or are helping now, the William Mattar Law Offices thanks you.

Here is the fun part of their campaign. Go to WilliamMattar.com and you will see their rescue an animal page. Fill out the quick entry form, attach your favorite picture of your pet. You can do this from now until November 16th. They will put together a photo gallery of everybody’s pet’s photos on the William Mattar website. This is when the voting begins. Have your friends and family vote for your pet’s photo; share it on social media, share the link with everyone so they know where to go on WilliamMattar.com to vote for your pet’s photos. The winner who has the most votes will pick which shelter you would like William Mattar Law Offices to give a monetary donation to. The winner will be chosen around the beginning of December. Also, if you are looking for a shelter in your area to help out; to possibly adopt an animal, volunteer or donate to, they have hundreds of shelters across New York State listed on their website. If you know of a shelter that is not listed please let them know so they can add it.

Also, we are going to start to see slippery roads soon and maybe a little more traffic with the holidays. The William Mattar Law Offices wants to remind people to be patient, give yourself a few extra minutes so you aren’t rushing. This can really help stop accidents and injuries from happening and they want everybody to stay safe during winter and the holiday season.

You can call the William Mattar Law Offices at 444-4444.
