What you can expect when you go to The Ideal You Weight Loss Center

Posted at 12:52 PM, Jul 15, 2020

The Ideal You Weight Loss Center is open for business but they are doing things a little differently. Mel Camp went to visit The Ideal You Weight Loss Center to find out what you can expect when you go to there. Donna Herberger, owner, says if you come in, you will need to wear a mask. All of the coaches and staff are all wearing masks. There is plexiglass at the checkout and hand sanitizer everywhere. You can’t use the bathroom unless they unlock it for you and then they will sanitize it when you are done. People come in for a 15-minute appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late you will have to reschedule.

Donna Herberger shows us examples of clients who stayed on the plan during the quarantine using curbside service and they lost weight. Two men have lost 20% of their body weight and one has lost 30%. Between the three of them they lost over 200 pounds. Donna says women typically lose 2-4 pounds per week and men 3-5 pounds per week. Men typically lose a little more than women.

Zoom meetings are every Thursday at 6pm and people can sign up on their website. The Zoom meetings last about an hour. If you want to come in person, they have in-person informational open houses at the Tonawanda and West Seneca locations every Wednesday at 6pm. Donna Herberger says the Clarence location is a little too small to have them in person but you can do the Zoom meetings.
