This past Christmas Eve I made a surprise visit to the home of Evette Phillips. She's the founder of We R Buffalo Strong. She and her army of volunteers served Christmas dinner to 174 needy Buffalonians including seniors, children and veterans only to come down with a virus and was unable to cook for her own family.
