In the hopes of better serving our much deserved Veterans in Buffalo, Neighborhood Legal Services, Inc., and Veterans Outreach Center, Inc., joined forces to present Valor Day.
Valor Day is a one-stop service fair geared to connect the military community, and those dedicated to assisting them. The mission of Valor Day is to help our heroes through legal consultation, educational workshops, and connection with local service providers.
Legal Consultation: Valor Day is unique in that it features a free on-site one-on-one legal consultation with several legal organizations. Attorneys from several legal organizations will be present at the fair to provide consultation in various fields of law including: landlord and tenant law, public benefits, disability law, immigration, debt collection defense, family law and much more!
Educational Workshops: Valor Day will also feature workshops on various significant topics such as: VA benefits claims; employment counseling; financial budgeting; and legal education on Housing, Public Benefits, Family and Disability Law.
Connection with Service Providers: Veterans will have a chance to connect with over 20 different local service providers that will be tabling during Valor Day. This will raise awareness of the different types of services that are provided in Buffalo, and it will allow Veterans to meet with representatives of those organizations.
