The Basil Family Dealerships have partnered with the U.S.S. Little Rock Commissioning Committee to sponsor a tour of the brand new U.S.S. Little Rock LCS-9 that is being commissioned at the Buffalo Naval Park alongside its namesake. A select group of 20 children who are a part of the Oishei Children's Hospital Stone's Buddies were able to tour the Little Rock before the Navy takes formal control of the fleet. The Stone's Buddies program was founded in 2005 and provides support to chronically ill patients and their families at Oishei Children's Hospital. Yesterday sailors delivered toys to patients at the Oishei Children's Hospital to ensure that these children and their families will be able to enjoy the holiday season.
