Will you be getting your annual flu shot? Dr. Richard Vienne from Univera Healthcare tells us that one in three people don't get their flu shot and it is vitally important that they do. They are not only putting themselves at risk, but their community as well. Even if the vaccine doesn't prevent the flu, it can lessen its impact. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone ages six months and older gets the flu vaccine by the end of October to help build the community's resistance to this season's strain.
