Is your home healthy? We are spending more time indoors because of the pandemic, so what does that mean? Matt Blashaw says we are doing a lot of cooking indoors, but we are also doing a lot more precautionary behaviors. So, what is that? It’s like cleaning products, things we are putting into the air, aerosols, and so Broan-NuTone did a consumer survey and they found nearly two-thirds of Americans are more concerned about indoor air quality (IAQ) than before COVID-19. What do we do about it? Matt says when you are cleaning, all those cleaning products that you have. Matt says he usually would equate a clean area when he smelled the products. He would say that smells clean but actually that is bad for you. That means those products are still in the air, so we need to ventilate and get things moving inside the house especially in the winter. Matt says get a ventilation system and shares his recommendation.
