When it comes to eating, we want to make sure we eat primarily for our health but also to decrease out body fat as well. We need to make healthy choices. One way to think about food is to think of a traffic light.
Red light are those foods that you should never have or make on a special occasion like a piece of cake on your birthday. These are stop foods.
Then there are yellow light foods. Yellow light foods have some health properties like avocado’s and peanut butter. However, you need to watch the portion size. You have to caution when eating foods like these because they may have too much fat or too much of something else.
Green light foods are the foods you can have in abundance. Those are your vegetables, your greens, spinach, collards, your cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower. Make sure you eat or drink your salad everyday.
