The importance of magnesium in your diet

Today Robbie Raugh talks about a mineral that is important for your body. That mineral is magnesium. Many people find it helps you if you have migraines. It also helps you if you have sugar cravings. Robbie says always check with your practitioner. Magnesium is also related to your bones; it’s related to your heart rhythm and your blood pressure as well. In fact, if you have a decreased amount of magnesium in your body it increases inflammation in your body which can contribute to things like cancer, diabetes and heart conditions so you want to make sure you are getting of the minerals in, but magnesium is an important one.

Robbie says some foods you might consider eating are pumpkin seeds, cashews, almonds, yogurt, greens, peanut and nut butters, and avocados. She says you might want to consider a magnesium supplement but always check with your doctor.
