All month long, Robbie Raugh has been focusing on longevity and wellness vitality. Today she is joined by Richard Derwald who is 85 years old and has been exercising for over 70 years. Richard is working with a band today. Exercise increases muscle mass and lubricates the joints; keeping you flexible and increases energy because exercise produces energy. It is so important for your brain too. We know that exercise increases the blood flow to the brain, but it also increases the nutrients and oxygen to the brain. It also helps your mood as well. So, if you want to get results you need to make a decision to do it and exercise will help you keep on track so you’re not sabotaging your goals. When you feel better you want to do it because you want to feel even better. If you haven’t started, you need to start. Robbie says if you don’t use it you lose it.
