Tim Carroll is a renowned theatre and opera director with over 25 years of experience and international credentials. In 2017, his inaugural season as the Shaw Festival's artistic director, Mr. Carroll will direct Bernard Shaw's Saint Joan and Androcles and the Lion. He has introduced the concept of Two-Way Theatre. This is a type of theatre where the audience has the sense that the show would not be the same without them. They actively engage with what is happening on stage and with the people of the Shaw Festival.
