Do you want to get a good workout in? Start raking. Robbie Raugh says if you weigh 125 pounds you can burn 240 calories in an hour of raking. Calories in and calories out do matter, she says, although it is not everything but you want to be able to move throughout the day. She says there are watches out there like the Apple Watch, the FitBit that will remind you to move and track your steps and track whatever you are doing. It is important to move your body. Don’t be sedentary. So, if you can take the stairs instead of the elevator, especially now when we know that the holidays coming and we are going to eat a little bit differently or a little bit more at parties, we want to make sure are burning calories and staying active, not just to burn calories but for your overall health, vitality, and longevity.
