The AARP Foundation Experience Corps is a high-impact, community-based, volunteer tutoring program that addresses a major contributor to poverty - the inability of children in kindergarten through third grate to read at grade level. In 2016 Read to Succeed Buffalo was one of five communities in the nation to receive funding to expand Experience Corps to Kindergarten through third grade students in three Buffalo City Schools.
