With the approaching of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s 91st birthday, plans are in place to honor this great leader. An event is taking place at Calvary Baptist Church located at 1184 Genesee Street in Buffalo on January 18th starting at 2:00pm. The service is followed by a prayer for the re-dedication service at the memorial plaza and the grand opening of the Making of A Monument exhibit at the Shelter House in MLK Jr. Park. The event is free to the public.
