This morning we start off with a heart wrenching story.
For our long time viewers many of you may remember former Am Buffalo host Drew Khan.
Well, his family is in need of help and support. After ringing in 2017, Drew's 15 year old son Nate was walking to a friend's house after watching the ball drop downtown.
As he walked down the sidewalk with one of his close friends, suddenly a drunk driver hit another car. Both cars went up onto the sidewalk and Nate and his friend were struck.
His friend sustained less serious injuries, but Nate wasn't so lucky. Nate badly damaged his left leg and will now require a lengthy healing process.
But, there is a way to help Nate and his family. His friend sam Battaglia and teammates are here to tell us what happens when friends come together and support one another in time of need.
